Dubai by chauffeured car

A car and a chauffeur for the day. You decide where to stop and how long to stay.

How it works

You book the car by the hour, three hours minimum. The chauffeur waits while you are out and the meter does not run faster because traffic did.

There is no fixed itinerary to follow and nothing to tick off. Tell the chauffeur what you want to see, change your mind halfway through, stop for lunch where you like.

What people usually do

Three hours covers the old city: the creek, the gold and spice souks, and the abra crossing. Four to six hours adds the modern side, Burj Khalifa and the fountain, the Marina and the Palm.

A full day is the one to pick if you want the desert road or a proper stop at the Frame and the Museum of the Future.

  • 3 hours: Deira, the creek and the souks
  • 6 hours: old city plus Downtown, Marina and the Palm
  • 8 to 10 hours: a full day, or an Abu Dhabi day trip

Abu Dhabi in a day

Ten hours is honest for Abu Dhabi. It is about ninety minutes each way, so you get five or six hours there: the Grand Mosque, the Louvre and the corniche without rushing any of them.

What the price includes and what it does not

The hourly price includes the car, the chauffeur, fuel, tolls and parking, plus 5% VAT. There is no per-kilometre charge on top and no evening surcharge.

Entry tickets are not included and we do not sell them. Buying them yourself is cheaper than any commission we could add, and it means you are never pushed towards a stop because it pays us.

Not a guided tour

Your chauffeur drives, knows the city and will happily tell you what a building is. They are not a licensed tour guide and will not walk you around a site.

If you want a licensed guide, say so when you book and we will arrange one to meet you. That is a separate fee and we tell you what it is before you agree.
